Ewa Cholewa, the owner and chef, brings skill and passion to every dish, making sure each item is made with care and attention to flavor.
Ewa grew up and nurtured her love for cooking in her hometown of Kudowa-Zdrój, Poland, where she studied Culinary Arts at the Kudowa Zdroj Technical School. She began her culinary career as a cook at Kosmos Hotel, and then a sous chef at the Swiss Holiday Hotel.
Opening a restaurant of her own has been a lifelong dream of hers, and after moving to America with her family, and after many years of hard work, she was able to make that dream a reality, and EJ Pierogi was born.
Meet Ewa's family; her husband Piotr, daughter Agnes, and the two boys; Tomek and Peter.
Agnes handles some behind the scenes things like scheduling, graphic design, and social media.
Ewa often says that if not for her incredible, supportive family, she would not have been able to achieve her dream.
